Are the “Delete Bricks Data” and the “Render WIth” dropdown now gone?

for me they’re there as they’ve always been. Where exactly are you missing them?
Did you enable the delete button in the Bricks settings?

Well yeah that what I expected and did BUT, those button ONLY show it seems if I preview a page if Gutenberg is enabled.
Going from Bricks to Gutenberg, not styling is shown in the Gutenberg editor. If I use the Gutenberg to Bricks setting, no layout is transfered or created.
It seems, am I wrong?, that the only way to see the layout created in Bricks, going to Gutenberg with the Bricks to Gutenberg setting, is to preview the page as Gutenberg is not showing the layout.

This all doesn’t seem that useful over all if I am understanding things correctly.
As an overall goal here, I’m attempting to take a fresh look at a limited access to editing pages, posts and CPTs using a limited access to the bricks editor over Gutenberg.
Maybe just turn off Gutenberg all together? Use Classic Editor when the customer is looking to edit a page, post or CPT?

the Bricks ↔ Gutenberg conversion is a completely different topic. This feature is not meant as “Build your Gutenberg content in Bricks” at the moment. It is just a helper in case someone starts building a site in Gutenberg and then decides to switch to Bricks (or the other way round). That way – as the academy states – “you can continue editing them with Bricks without having to start all over again”.

I had enabled the delete button and those choices only display on a preview which is what threw me off on the KB page documentation and ONLY when displayed in a separate tab. That’s what is significant in my primary question.
Ok, so my old strategies still apply.

the topic question is: "Buttons now missing in 1.9?“. And no. They’re not. 
If they are actually missing for you at a place where they’ve been there before 1.9 this might be a bug. Happy to investigate this. So please send some temporary credentials to help@bricksbuilder.io and let me know where exactly I can see the problem in action. Please also include a link to this forum report.
Oh and… although not Bricks or version related make sure to disable WordPress’ fullscreen mode to see the admin bar:

Ahhhh! That was the issue. The latest WordPress enables full screen by default it seems.
I hope this helps someone else
