Building forms manually with nestable form elements

I am using Bricks for some time now and I am happy using it, feeling comfortably while always digging deeper.

What I am missing is manually building forms with nestable elements. Now I am using Bricksforge’s Pro Forms elements and adding custom code and interactions to make it work. But I am interested if there will be native Bricks form elements available for the Builder?

For example a nestable Input or Select, Textarea, etc element that I can add attributes to. I would happily leave Bricksforge (even thought I like it) because it adds a bit extra weight to the website and I like it lean. (I only use Bricksforge for the Pro Forms capability.)

Thanks!

This feature has been on the Idea board for a long time and is very popular. But unfortunately it is not even on the roadmap. I hope the Bricks team will consider developing it.

We don’t even need extra features, integrations, just form elements that can be styled and attributed with the proper attributes (title, for, action, type, etc). That way we can build basic forms manually.
