BUG: Font issue after adding favicon

I recently went into WordPress > Appearance > Customise to add my favicon to my clients website.

Now all of the font and texts looks as follows:-

Oddly enough on the actual bricks builder itself, the text/font all appears normal.

Has anyone else had this issue? I haven’t been backing this website up either for some odd reason and now it’s just gone completely wrong. There is some odd font when I inspect element too and the heading has also disappeared. I almost feel like this is either a bug or could even be a hack due to that vulnerability last week. But why would this occur only when I update the favicon?

Link - [REMOVED]

Hi, do you have a live link or something that we can check it?

Apologies, that would have helped. The link is [REMOVED]

Weird! The whole HTML has changed. All items are wrapped inside a b or s tag. Those are old. What happens when you remove favicon again?

Nothing, the whole HTML is still incorrect. As you say when you inspect, I get a load of weird b and s tags followed by some weird text. Absolutely no clue if this relates to the vulnerability, I would assume bug as it only happened after I added the favicon and now I can’t undo it? Worst thing is I didn’t have a backup of this website for some reason.

Hmm… Try to do a plugin check with the Health & Troubleshooting plugin. Test if it still works in the debug mode on with Bricks turned on as well. Then turn on every plugin one at a time and check if the weird html is still there.

Tried that and disabled all plugins, the text still shows as strikethrough with weird HTML still. I know everyone seems to be blaming the vulnerability lately, but I feel like this may well be some sort of weird hack. How else would the HTML just randomly get all them tags?

To be honest, not sure. The results of the vulnerability was a weird asian website popping up instead of my own website (different clients, different asian websites), so not sure if this is the direct result of the breach… However, if disabling all plugins and still showing up this weird, then I suggest to contact the support indeed. Sorry to not be able to help!

Just realised that my hosting provider did daily JetBackups, so just restored to the 11th February one. Immediately updates Bricks theme, so if anything like that happens again at least I will know it’s not vulnerability related.

Just need to add a few bits that will be missing and will be back to as it was. Thank you for your help anyway!
