I’m using Bricks on Cloudways which doesn’t support PHP mail. So Elasticmail is my SMTP mailer. I can’t seem to get the two connected to send a message from the form. It’s just a developer url for now until the site is done. I’ve tried using the WP Forms SMTP plugin and following their instructions but no good. I’ve also contacted Cloudways and they say my Elasticmail is working fine. I am using it on a few other sites with a different form plugin, so it seems ok.
Has anyone set up SMTP mail with Bricks forms? How did you do it?
Hi @MultiCoastMedia,
SMTP Configuration works fine with Bricks Builder.
I don’t know your plugin but I am sure it can work too.
From my side, I use the following one:
If you are using Gmail, you can use this one, which helps with the API Configuration:
Have a great day,

Thanks for the suggestions!
I’m thrilled to say that NO PLUGINS are required! DNS records (for Elasticmail) just needed to be set up for the domain matching the “from” address. I’m happy that Bricks allows such a streamlined setup with no plugins needed to create simple contact forms and SEO settings. Bricks rocks!

Hi @MultiCoastMedia
I too am using Cloudways with Elastic Email and my simple Contact form just hangs on Submit. I followed the Cloudways documentation regarding the DNS settings and the verify/validate function shows that all the necessary DNS records are set correctly. Still no luck. Can you please provide specifics on what exactly you did to get your form working?
Thanks!
