Bricks content not showing up when using Simply Static

Hi, all. I’m on the latest version of WordPress and Bricks. I checked the “Convert Bricks into Gutenburg data option” and vice-versa in the Settings, but the Gutenburg editor only shows me the HTML, no styling whatsoever. So, I’m not sure what’s happening.

When I preview the style-less page, it shows everything as it appears in Bricks. So, I tried converting it to a static site via the Simply Static plugin, but it doesn’t show me anything but errors. And before I checked the Bricks → Gutenburg setting, it only showed me the “This is my first post” data.

Is this an issue with all WordPress site builders? I just want to use my completed site.

I used LocalWP to do everything, by the way.

The Save Bricks data as Gutenberg data is just a hotfix for SEO plugins.

I tried Simply Static on a test site and it worked fine. Make sure that your pages all say “Render with Bricks” and not “Render with WordPress”

As for why it wasn’t showing the styling it could be your Simply Static settings. Make sure that you’re using the correct URL setting under General.

Update: I am OMEGA dumb. After making sure my permalinks were set to the default and, y’know, PUBLISHING the site, I was able to convert it with Simply Static. It’s up on Netlify right now. I’m including this for posterity.
