I just recorded a quick tip for integrating custom image sizes in Bricks Builder. Works like a charm - very impressive.

I wonder if there is a need for so many image sizes when we have the css aspect ratio property available.
Just an example. You’re right of course. A few less would be good as well. But keep in mind that CSS is taking a picture and presents it in a certain size - but the image always stays the same (in terms of KB). With the shown method in the video you get physically small , mid and large images for all resolutions and ratios. And that certainly makes a difference in page load if you have lots of images on a site.
I do the same and have the snippet saved to the cloud and add it to all installs. I see you use Elements too, you might use it already, but some Elements photos and Unsplash photos (or other 3rd party photo repositories) are like 4000W x xxxxH so I use Imsanity – WordPress plugin | WordPress.org which is a free plugin that on download sets it to 1920W x Auto H (Can be set to your own preferences)
For non LiteSpeed clients I use (EWWW Image Optimizer – WordPress plugin | WordPress.org) which is the same developer as imsanity and has the same function but it also has compression and WEPB convertor (Not needed for LS installs as LS cache has this funtionality).
Prior to this I used to run every image through a resizer and then a compressor but now no need and saves loads of time
Just thought to share if it will help your workflow.
Also out of interest, when i use the media menu and click upload media it has Elements available, but if I am editing a page and use an image element or try to upload a BG the elements tab does not show…is this the same for you Leo?
Awesome tips - tnx a lot. Didn’t use those plugins so far but will try immediately. To your question: In my Bricks installation I don’t have any tab in Media like in Elementor. I assume that Envato did not adapt the plugin to Bricks yet. No big problem for me.
No worries at all
It seems so, I will get on to Envato to see if they will add a fix.
