Bricks and new woocommerce updates

Hi bricks team,

The new features and updates of bricks are very impressive and as a new member of bricks I must say that you are unique in the WordPress world.

A very important topic that I would really like to talk about is whether there is a plan to focus on WooCommerce features?

WooCommerce has introduced new and extensive features in recent versions that every e-commerce website needs. For example, WooCommerce now allows us to create cart < checkout pages directly on the page without a shortcode, while in bricks we are still forced to use the deprecated shortcode.

As another example, WooCommerce has now broken down its blocks into smaller components and will continue to do so. Blocks like:

  • add to cart
  • product gallery
  • product review
  • cart page blocks
  • checkout page blocks

In addition, there are many other WooCommerce features that will be very useful in bricks. For example:

  • checkout editor
  • notice on popup
  • compare and wishlist (interactions and query loop support)
  • additional information (with query loop)
  • more nestable element with query loop
  • sale time by counter element
  • Dividing WooCommerce elements into smaller elements (like WooCommerce)

I believe Thomas and the team always make the best decisions. I hope that after the release of Bricks 2.0, serious attention will be paid to the development of WooCommerce features.

Best regards

There are more of us hoping WooCommerce will get better support. Keeping my fingers crossed.

Yes, please! The more control over their clunky UI patterns the better!

Agreed, I’d love to see more WooCommerce customization.

Great tip, it would be nice to have Cart(Nestable) and Product gallery(Nestable) to give more customizability.
