Bricks 1.11 (beta) - Populate query using URL parameters

URL: https://test-48915.instawp.xyz/events/

Hey @thomas, you mentioned sharing links with search parameters to auto-populate filters, but this wasn’t shown in the video. Does this feature work? I tried this link (https://test-48915.instawp.xyz/events/?_search=test+1), but it didn’t auto-filter the posts. Can you clarify if I’m missing something?

You can see how the URL updates as I’m applying the filters in the video.

If you copy the entire URL from the browser address bar, you can share it however you want (email, from a link on your website, etc.)

But here’s no dedicated “share” button, if that’s what you are asking.

No, I’m not asking for a share button.

The link (https://test-48915.instawp.xyz/events/?_search=test+1) was taken directly from the URL after applying the filters.

“If you copy the entire URL from the browser address bar, you can share it however you want” - This isn’t working for me. If you navigate to the URL, the posts don’t automatically filter.

I figured it out. In order for this functionality to work, the “Filter - Active Filters” element needs to be added to the page.

The “Active filters” element is not required to make the URL parameters work. The URL parameters work out-of-the-box. I just double-checked again locally.

On your demo page at events – Site Title the URL parameters are also applied for me, and there’s no active filter element on that page:

Sorry, I searched but didn’t found this before, so made a bug report, but I have the same issue.
applying the filter works, reload or use the URL with those parameters resets the filter for the query (even if the active filters stays there).

I have the same problem, has this been fixed?
