Need to limit failed attempts. For security reasons obviously (won’t mention them here). Secondly, after so many failed attempts atleast give us a settings / control to allow us to redirect user.

limit failed attempts would be great. i think, if this feature is added, it is much better to add it to the form element. Because in addition to password protection, it will also be useful for Custom Authentication Pages.
Also, an interaction would be great for that. For example, if a wrong password is entered multiple times, we can display a pop-up notification. Or hide the form and display a message instead.
It would be great to add a new section for security items when we select User Login or Unlock Password Protection actions.
