Brick Builder Market (templates, components and scripts provided by users)

Hi folks

We currently see a lot of « private » bricks libraries growing.

I’m king of sad that Thomas didn’t include a free and premium user generated library IN bricks.

I’d rather pay for components, blocks and layouts in an official bricks builder market.

Why?

  • It could support bricks builder development by providing multiple contents in the builder market.

  • Bricks users that spend a lot of time to create components, designs and scripts could provide them to a larger community and get paid for that.

  • I’m shocked that external libraries cost more than the builder.

  • I think that the LTD option is an important argument to get new users but limits the incomes of the brick builder company. Having market commission could help to maintain a LTD.

What do you think about it ?

I remember I read in Bricks change log once a mention of a designer joining up the team / supporting with design sets. They said they will be able to regularly put new templates/components. Not sure what happen to that.
