Better HTTP Archive & Wappalyzer detection for bricks

HTTP Archive is a well-known project that monitors how the web is built and its performance, and its tech stack detection appears to be powered by Wappalyzer.

Bricks’ growth looks great here, along with the percentage of Bricks websites achieving good CWV scores:

However, after checking the wappalyzer code, I think the detection for Bricks isn’t quite optimal. It seems to identify Bricks by looking for the script folder at /wp-content/themes/bricks/assets/, so sites using an optimizer that concatenates scripts might be overlooked.

for example, these websites from bricks showcase arent detected using bricks

It might be helpful for the Bricks developers to propose a more reliable detection method (maybe by checking for brxe classes?) so we can see more bricks sites detected

Just a friendly suggestion!

You need to write this to GitHub issues. Not here.

This post is meant as a suggestion for the Bricks developers to consider submitting issues or pull requests to the project, as they might have a better idea for improving Bricks detection
