Hi Bricks team and community ![]()
I’m currently building a multilingual website using WordPress Multisite, where each sub-site represents a different country/language.
My workflow is:
Enable WordPress Multisite
Clone the main site into sub-sites
Manually translate each sub-site into the target language
For posts and custom post types, translation is quite easy because I use the Classic Editor and can integrate an AI translation API directly in the editor.
However, I’m running into difficulties with pages built using Bricks Builder.
Since Bricks stores page content as structured data (elements, settings, JSON), it’s not straightforward to:
Extract all translatable text from a Bricks page
Programmatically send that text to an AI translation workflow
Re-insert the translated content back into the same Bricks structure
So I’d like to ask the community:
Is there an official or recommended approach to extract text content from Bricks pages for translation?
Are there any hooks, filters, or APIs provided by Bricks that expose page element text in a structured way?
From a Bricks perspective, what is the best practice for handling multilingual content in a Multisite setup (without WPML / Polylang)?
Any insights, examples, or documentation references would be highly appreciated.
Thanks in advance!
