I switched from old Elementor to bricks. The start was great and Bricks has a great future ahead of him.
Since I own an Elementor&LearnDash site, I wanted to convert it to Bricks as well. Now my questions about this:
Would it be possible to create an official LearnDash tutorial in your academy?
Would it be possible to cooperate with Learndash to enable full integration?
Of course, like everything that exists on the market at number 1, Learndash is not really the best. As an example, Elementor should be mentioned here, which when you think about it, is actually pretty bad.
Do you know of an LMS plugin (which is not LearnDash) that already works great with Bricks? (e.g. Learnpress or Tutor LMS)
Well aware that you are not looking for that answer:
After working and testing multiple LMS I would go with learndash. Don’t get me wrong, it often really pisses me off because of multiple reasons. But in combination with bricks its fine.
The main reason I stick with learndash is the rest api and the more or less available dev documentation (its more on the garbage side though).
I did not encounter any problems moving my learndash sites from oxygen to bricks.
I’m sorry this reply is being more a rant than actual help. I hope my input helps you anyway.
I don’t know a LMS plugin that work seamlessly with Bricks, but I’ve had good experience with Tutor LMS. It works with Gutenberg, which makes it possible to build a great LMS while using Bricks for a lot of the themeing. Tutor LMS has great pricing if you’re on a budget as well.
Still, in my opinion WordPress is not the best for building a complex LMS. Opigno LMS (Drupal distribution) and Moodle are options to have a look at if you want to build something more complex (both open source).
