Automatically update IDs in the component

If the elements inside the component have ids (like interactions or filters), they will break after we add the component because their ids will change. Please watch the video below.

This is really a big hassle. It doesn’t work even when I change the IDs manually. What is the solution? I want to start using the live search component on my websites starting with version 2.0.

I suspect your problem is something I just reported.

WIP: Live search not work in component

But that is not all. The problem is that even after updating the ID, the problem is not solved and live search still does not work. I think the solution for now is to use Live search outside the component. I suggest you don’t rush into using the component. It’s a very broad feature that naturally has bugs in the beginning. But it’s evolving rapidly.
