For the “SEO” settings description, I have to put “{post_excerpt}” but not for the “SOCIAL MEDIA” settings description.
I believe the {post_excerpt} should be called by default.

It would be a bug if:
{post_excerpt} was inserted automatically in version x. It no longer works in version y.
But since this was never the case, it is not a bug. Accordingly, I’ll move this thread to the “feature requests/improvements” category, which, however, is primarily only meant to discuss new proposals. Official requests should be made via Idea board – Bricks.
