Core Frameworks has a .btn class with lots of styling.
I’m already using the CF Bricks plugin.
I know I can use this class on specific buttons but I can’t work out how to make this styling the default for all Bricks buttons.
I tried going into Theme Styles>Element Button but I can’t add a class to that.
Any ideas please?
Does ACSS have better Bricks integration for things like this?
Thanks, that makes sense.
I’m still trying to get my head around what I should do in Bricks vs CF (all new to me, just come from Elementor).
For buttons and others like links, I’m now leaning towards doing them in Bricks Theme Styles, just for the defaults.
Then maybe use the CF button, link classes for something else (E.G. Maybe a special CTA button or something).
Probably best to ask in the CF facebook group, where you’ll have more active users that can share their workflow, as it’ll be different for each person and you’ll get a wider perspective.
I personally don’t use the ‘components’ part or the utility classes, but some people love that part. I like to do everything in Bricks, doing everything ‘the Bricks way’ as much as possible, with custom classes and with the framework only providing the variables needed for the spacing/colors & typography.
If I was using a different builder, I’d be using the workflow that best suit that builder, and again only using the framework to store the variables so I don’t have to create them myself.
But somebody else might be using the components & utility classes and will have their reasons for that way of doing it.
