I tried to create an alternative template for a loop in bricks. I tried it via conditions, but without success. I found some mentions of it on the forum, but they are a few years out of date. Bricks didn’t have this natively before, is it still the same, or is that option already there?
Thanks, I came to the same conclusion and in this case it can be solved like this. But if for example the first post is supposed to contain an advertisement for example as a static image, or anything else, then it is still probably not possible. Maybe by editing the css you could achieve some result, but it would be nice if it was possible, for example, through conditions, where a condition for dynamic data would be given and the loop post index would be included.
At the moment, one workaround would be to add the two design templates as children of your loop template, then add the conditions to the blocks. You can’t add the condition directly to the block with the query loop.
Other options include using third party tools like JetEngine Listing Grid or Dynamic Shortcodes.
Thank you for your answer. I just thought of that with the 2 sets of templates, I guess I expressed myself wrong. However, when I tried it, I got stuck because I couldn’t display the correct set through conditions. What should such a coondition look like?
