Considering the standard lightbox is so basic (not even captions?), the popup is an alternative to add custom fields with the media post_id, but then when you are trying to get the layout to work in the template…it doesn’t. It scrolls. When you want things to just fit to the popup without scrolling it would be wonderful to have a setting that would straight-up deliver a full height lightbox popup and adjust the image height accordingly. Then, if you’re so inclined, you can fuss with other settings…right now, it’s the other way around…fussing to get the basics to work.
