Active top level item in Mega Menu

Dear community

I am dealing with setting up a background color for the active state for the top-level items of Nav (nestable) using Mega Menu.

I did set up this option but it doesn’t work when the mega menu is open.

Do you how to do it? I tried different ways with no success.
I wouldn’t want to use custom CSS.

Another thing I’ve noticed is that when I change the color, the previous one remains, even when I reset the styles of this widget :confused:
