SOLVED: Missing SVG used up all PHP processes

Bricks Version: 1.3.7
Browser: Firefox 99.01
OS: Windows
URL: not available, but could be replicated easily

[Please describe in as much detail as possible how we can replicate this bug]
First create a Global Header, upload a SVG as logo.
Then delete the SVG.
Usually it wouldn’t be a problem, SVG request would return a 404 error fastly, but with bricks builder, the html/doc request would take a very long time to return. It would use up all PHP processes like a logic loop.

Hi tudou,
Welcome to the forum and thanks a lot for your report!

Can you please double-check the issue with the latest Bricks 1.4RC version (which is available for download in your account)? As far as I can see, it’s no longer a problem there.

Best regards,
timmse

@tudou Does it happen with 1.4?

Hi,
I have confirmed with 1.4rc-2 it still exist.

Yes, it’s still exist by my testing.

Thanks for getting back @tudou!
After watching your video and retesting it, I can confirm the issue still exists.

While we’re trying to find a way to improve this, make sure to not delete your SVGs

Best regards,
timmse

@timmse

Any improvements to this? Another SVG related perf issue reported recently. SVG files take to much time to render from backend

Hi guys,
We’ve fixed this bug in Bricks 1.7.2, now available as a one-click update in your WordPress Dashboard.

Please let us know if you are still experiencing issues.

Confirmed.
It returns normal 404 now in Version 1.7.2
