I tried the font manager in RC2 version, but it works completely abnormally. For example:
1- The custom font is never deleted. For example, in the gif below, I delete the Dana font, but it still exists in the font family section. After I go back to the font manager, it is added back there.
2- After the font is uploaded, a preview is displayed, which is the expected behavior. However, if we go back there, the “Select/upload font variation” button appears, as if nothing has been uploaded or selected yet.
thank you for your report. Yep, I was able to replicate both issues locally and I’ve connected this topic to the local task that we already have for font manager issues.
We will update it as always, once the issues are fixed.
Just to add more input to this issue, I am also experiencing weird behaviours with the new Font Manager (Bricks 2.0 RC2).
For example:
1. When adding a font (first I tried in .ttf format, then .woff), the preview of the font does not work until I refresh the whole builder. As you can see, the preview shows a default serif font, which is not the one I uploaded:
2. The font format uploaded doesn’t match the font format in the old Font Manager. Here, I uploaded a .woff file, and it appears under the .woff2 field:
