SOLVED IN 1.4: Editor Not Updating Frontend Classes

Bricks Version: 1.4 RC2
Browser: MS Edge Version 101.0.1210.39 (Official build) (64-bit)
OS: Windows 10 Home
URL: https://kitchener.pdms.ca/deep-cleaning/

When I try to add a class to an element, there are times where the class is added in the editor but when the frontend is reloaded the class is not added to that element.

Here’s a video showing the problem in more detail:

I feel like this might be a copy/paste function issue. After recording that video I managed to update the rest of that page by typing in the class name, and clicking it from the suggestions list. The problem didn’t occur again. I’ll keep using this process and if it continues to work, I’ll post another reply here.

I think I can confirm that this is a copy/paste issue. I used the class suggestions to add the classes I needed and I haven’t had this happen again.

@digitalgravy Chris confirming what we discussed…

Hi Chris,
Thanks so much for your report and getting back with updates!

I was able to reproduce the issue and I’m pretty sure I’ve found the main reason :robot:

We updated the builder save to only save data that has been changed and it seems, one or the other check for adding or removing classes is missing (sometimes classes remain in the frontend even though they were removed in the builder).

Have a great weekend,
