WAIT: Theme Styles not working as intended

1. Theme style import in 2.0-alpha: This has already been reported here: WIP: Bricks 2.0: Can't upload theme styles JSON
2. We haven’t received any reports regarding theme styles in 1.12.4, and I can’t replicate any issue, so I assume there is a misunderstanding of how the theme styles work.

Let me try to address all issues:

Changing the Theme Styles theme changes the styles, but only in the working area - live does not change, before or after the page save.

Make sure to apply a condition to your theme style, as otherwise, it will not apply on the front end.

After refreshing the working area, styles revert back as the setting never changed.

Make sure to save before refreshing the page and, if there’s no condition yet, select the correct theme style to see its styles on the canvas.

I don’t know if the Theme Styles suppose to change the ‘Save’ icon status (yellow dot)

They do (tested in 1.12.4 and 2.0-alpha), see the dot above the save icon:

By some combination of making, deleting and renaming the themes I managed to change it from Global Styles into the imported one, but now I cannot revert back - unless I delete it.

Without knowing/seeing precisely what you have done, I can’t say anything about this.

I also tried a fresh, clean Bricks theme (1-12-4 and 2.0), not a child, made 2 simple theme styles with different backgrounds - same. We cannot jump from one style to another.
