WAIT: The Paste Element button is missing in the component and the content is not pasted

Hello bricks developers,

In the structure panel we have the “paste (all)” button. But this button is not present in the component. So we cannot paste any content into the component. I even copied some elements and tried to paste them into the component over the existing elements but it didn’t work.

1- Copy elements outside the component.
2- Then edit a component and right-click on one of the elements inside it and paste. Nothing will be added.

Although this is another way, it would be much better if we had a “paste (all)” button in the component structure panel.

Thanks so much for your report!

“Copy all” and “paste all” copy the entire canvas content, so at first glance it doesn’t seem practical to use or paste that within a component—or perhaps I’m missing your specific use case, which unfortunately isn’t clear from your report.

However, the normal, regular copying and pasting of elements into a component works perfectly for me—whether with individual elements or with bulk-selected elements.

Perhaps your clipboard API is blocked? Check the browser settings (privacy/security) for your website; something might be blocked there.
