WAIT: Text Element lagging inside builder

The loom video shows text lagging quite a bit inside the builder.
There was a second item that popped up while recording - containers in the structure pane were out of order with the page.

Hi John,

I tested this and cannot reproduce your issue, see this video.

Can you please try to disable every browser extension you´ve installed and try again? I think something slows down your browser a lot…

I tried the same workflow on several browsers. Same result.
I also copied the site down to a local install of WordPress and still had the lag.

It seemed to get worse as more and more elements were added to the page.
A brand new page is snappy and fast.

Here are the results in Fire Fox Dev with no plugins/extensions on the browser:

I did some more testing on the site and here is what I found -

If I edit text elements inside the page, everything is very fast.
If I edit text inside the left hand element settings section, text elements lag quite a bit.
