Hello everyone, for a few days I’ve been having a problem, the Save button spins endlessly and never ends. Reading on forums and Facebook groups it seems to be caused by ModSecurity. I’m currently working with Local Wp with nginx web server. I kindly ask you for advice on how to solve this problem and if necessary how to disable ModSecurity on the nginx server having Local Wp, as it is impossible to work in this way. Thanks in advance ![]()
Hi,
I also use Local and I don’t have this issue. Does this happen even on a newly created website, and only Bricks installed?
Regards,
Matej
Hi Matej, thanks for replying
. It happens even if the site is just created. Now I switched to work on Instant WP and I don’t have this problem anymore, but I would like to understand why on Local Wp I have this problem. ![]()
Hmm, for example, this is my setup:
Do you have it similar?
Also, if you open a developer tool, what is the request response/error code, when you try to save?
Are there any console errors?
There are no console errors, but my setting is different from yours because I have a slightly older mac and that could be the problem. I will do some more tests to see if it works. Thank you very much for your time and availability ![]()
Hmm, how much older? Is it possible that you macOS is not supported by Local anymore?
Seems that only Monterey (12) or higher is supported. Could that be a reason?
Please let me know.
Thanks!
I have macOS Catalina, so that may be due to it, although I downloaded an older version that should be compatible.
And what is the response code in the network tab?
Now I don’t remember specifically why I was trying to solve the problem a few days ago, having an urgent job to finish I had to switch to Instant WP. As soon as I deliver this job I will try to find a solution to solve the problem. Thanks for your help ![]()
