WAIT: No place for me to sign the code within the post

Hello,

I submitted a ticket yesterday regarding KaTeX formulas within posts.

In the Bricks Academy, I learned that the Code Element can be used on any page. However, the problem is that within post content, there is no ā€œcode signatureā€ option for me to sign, so the code does not execute.

I have to emphasize this again, as I still have no solution for this issue. Could you please guide me through it? I really want to publish my post. :sob:

For context, my site was previously built with Elementor, where the formulas worked perfectly and shows on the frontend as beautiful math fomulaes. Recently, I rebuilt the site using Bricks, which is much faster and better overall, but this new issue with KaTeX formulas has come up.

Thank you for your help!

@Matej Hello, Matej, Please take a look and guide me

Hi @Mezzy,

I’m sorry for late response.

I could not find a ticket about this. Is it possible that you are referring to this question you posted: How to execute the code in single post?

That is true. But just to be exact, this is only about the Code Element that you use in Bricks via Bricks Builder, not other code elements.

Can you please record a video about this (what do I need to write Katex and where, and how you use it in Bricks) , so I can replicate the issue localy?
Even better, if you also provide temporary login credentials to your test/staging website and a link to this topic to help@bricksbuilder.io using the email address you used during the purchase, we can take a look.

Thank you.
Matej

Hey,

I used a markdown editor plugin with Katex function built in, which is created by a github developer.

Is it OK for me to send you the plugin for you to check? cuz my site’s bricks was activated by my agent.

Could you send your agent, to send the files and website access over for you? Ideally, you will also record a video, so I know how to replicate the issue.

Is the plugin publicly accessible?

Matej

Can I also get a step by step video on how to replicate the issue? Otherwise, it takes a lot of time for me to figure out what the correct setup is, especially as it’s the first time I’m using this plugin.

Thank you.
Matej

I’d love to, dear Matej, could I use my own gmail to send it to your team’s support eamil?

Hi @Mezzy,

Support is only meant for verified email accounts. In your case, the developer would need to send the email that confirms your email address.

But, I’ve tried to download that plugin anyway, and I could not activate it—it caused a fatal error. I’ve checked the WP repository, and it seems to be removed from there (WP Githuber MD – WordPress Markdown Editor – WordPress plugin | WordPress.org), because of security issues.

Does the newly downloaded plugin from github works for you?

Matej

@Matej

Hi, Matej, I’m using the previous version of this plugin(1.16.2) and it showed like the picture above.

I knew this plugin has been removed. But I can’t really go without it, because it’s the best markdown editor plugin I could find in the market.

Do you know where I could download that plugin version, that still works?
