SOLVED: Internal link post/page not working - no results

Bricks Version: 1.5.2
Browser: Chrome - up to date
OS: Windows

Just updated to 1.5.2.
Now for the link type *(button) I can’t set an internal post/page anymore.
It just shows no results.

Tried closing all and restarting, but still no results are coming up.
Making linking to post / pages impossible.

Sorry for the late reply. Does the problem still exist in 1.5.3/1.5.4?

Hi Timmse, yes still does. For some pages not all… :face_with_raised_eyebrow:

I’m using happyfiles to sort my pages. So thought that would be it. But other pages, also in happyfiles folders are coming through fine.

Not sure why I’m able to select some pages and some not.

Investigated a bit more.
Thought it might be related to happyfiles, but it isn’t.

  • Some pages get picked up without issues.

  • Some pages get picked up but take a couple of seconds to load.

  • Some pages don’t get picked up.

Really weird issue.

Sooo, here again for an explanation:

There were quite a few more recent images with the same/similar name to the page, which caused the dropdown to show nothing or few entries. Images from the WordPress Media Library are basically nothing more than posts, which is why this problem occurred.

Will be fixed in the next version.
