Not sure if it’s a proper bug or a improvement, but I’ve had major issues trying to generate template screenshots and on/off saving of the page.

Hours later it turns out the issue was that the EXIF php extension wasn’t installed, and that was crashing/causing the issues on the server.

My proposition would be to add a checker for that and a notice if the extension isn’t installed, so that users can at least know what’s going on.

This feels more like a possible improvement, but I agree with your suggestion and I will bring it up internally for discussion.

Meanwhile, I have moved the original item to the Feature Requests / Improvements channel, as that seems more appropriate.

I will get back to you once I have more news.
