SOLVED: Woocommerce Advance Checkout v2 Payment Method Issue

Hi Bricks team,

I noticed a bug on checkout with the generated advanced v2 modules on checkout when a 100% discount coupon is applied and a shipping method is selected. The main issue is the payment method options disappear once you select any shipping method.

FYI This is on a local build with bricks builder installed and no other active plugins

I can’t replicate that issue locally. I think it would be best if you can send me an access to the staging website so I can take a look or if you can replicate it on try.bricksbuilder.io.

I have replicated the issue in

Are you able to login or do you need the logins? how do I share these privately?

To replicate,

  1. Add products in cart
  2. Go to checkout
  3. Apply “test” coupon
  4. toggle the shipping methods: Free shipping and Flat rate
  5. You will see that the payment methods will disappear even if flat rate has a cost associated with it.

Thank you so much. We can replicate the issue now. The payment options element is not revealed after switching from free to other methods.

We will work on a fix for this.

We’ve addressed this in Bricks 2.4.3, now available as a one-click update in your WordPress Dashboard.

Payment options are restored when the order total becomes positive again after a zero-total state.

Please read the changelog entry before updating, and let us know if you experience any issues.
