I notice Bricks have a bug on this file, when I use custom login with Bricks:

I can replicate the issue when you are not setting remember me field.
I have recorded this in the bug tracker and will tackle it

We’ve fixed this issue in Bricks 1.9.6, now available as a one-click update in your WordPress Dashboard.
