SOLVED: Search results template doesn't work for product searches

Is this really solved?

I have set up mine search results template (set search results in template settings and also in template conditions.

However, if I use Advanced Woo Search - which has Bricks Integration, it won’t go to the Search results template, but to the /shop/ page.

I am on latest 2.1.2 version.

it looks like, it is caused by search url:

Výsledky vyhledávání „rakte“ – KADU – goes to shop instead of search
Výsledky vyhledávání „rakte“ – KADU – works fine.

Is this caused by bricks or by AWS? Can you be that nice and tell me Stefan? @timmse :slight_smile: I am struggling with it a lot :smiley:

Hi @alessykora

That is the expected behavior in WooCommerce.

When you have “post_type=product” parameter in the URL, WooCommerce will use “archive-product” template if found. So, your shop page template will be loaded. (It wouldn’t use your Search result template)

You can get the same behaviour when switching to the Storefront Theme.
