SOLVED: Save error [object Object] when trying to save

Yep, pretty important, I would call it essential.

And the reason I’m concerned about it still being “experimental” can be illustrated by quoting moderator @Matej from Jun 2025 in this thread, and again in Oct 2025 in this thread.

He wrote: “I understand that it’s important, but keep in mind that “Sync Global classes” is still in experimental phase, so bugs are expected, and it should not be used on live websites. Especially with the bug like this, where you can lose some progress.”

Hard to feel confident using an experimental feature that can remove all the saved classes even on a staging site.

That is a bit of a hyperbolic response don’t you think? Because a feature is still experiential you have no confidence in the product? Sounds like the same bombastic rhetoric that Kevin Geary spits out.

I have been using Bricks from the very beginning and never have I had my site go down or break, not once!

That is a bit of a swing and a miss, @shingen . I actually fundamentally disagree with the Kevin Geary approach and purposefully do not use any of his products. My perspective does not come from rhetoric, it comes from running a web agency.

Also, I specifically referred to a lack of confidence in using a particular experimental feature, not the product as a whole. It would be helpful if you read what I actually wrote rather than just reacting.

When you are a solo dev, you can work around experimental quirks. But when you manage a high volume of sites with multiple developers working on projects simultaneously, features like Sync Global Classes are not just cool extras, they are essential for preventing team members from overwriting each others work.

It is not hyperbole to be cautious when a moderator explicitly warns that a feature should not be used on live websites because it can cause you to lose some progress. For an agency, losing progress on a client site is a billable hours nightmare. I love Bricks, that is why I am here pushing for this, but we need core data handling features to move past the experimental tag so we can safely use them in a professional team workflow.
