A random “root” class is being added to elements. I’ve searched everywhere and cannot find a culprit. I used “root” on an element within the custom CSS but then removed it bc I noticed the “root” class and even within my page CSS an ID is being set to “root.”

The root class isn’t random at all and therefore not a bug 
The root container is the outer container, similar to a section. You can apply a root container margin and since Bricks 1.3.7 a root container padding via theme styles.

Awe, you sir are completely right. After I set them to 0 it populated within the page CSS.
