SOLVED: Query Problem in Templates

Hello,

Bricks 1.9.1.1

I have the following problem:

I create a “Woocommerce Product Archive” template page.

Then I add a content with a query.

At that moment it destroys the footer and nothing is shown for the query.

If I remove the query the page runs normally again.

Previously created elements in other templates with queries still work.

If I create a normal page instead of a template, the query works.

Hi Daniel,
Thanks so much for your report!

Unfortunately, I cannot reproduce the issue. Would you be so kind as to send temporary login credentials and a link to this thread to help@bricksbuilder.io using the email address you used during the purchase?

Best regards,
timmse

Hi Daniel,
Thanks for the credentials! I honestly don’t know exactly what was going on - but I deleted the template and created a new one, with which it works as expected.

Best regards,
timmse

Hi,

I had already done that twice and unfortunately it didn’t work.

I just adapted your query in the new template, but unfortunately it doesn’t work.

Hi Daniel,
Problem identified: this is a bug in 1.9.1.1 that is already fixed in the 1.9.2 beta. Can you please check this?

Bricks 1.9.2 beta is available as a manual download in your account (see changelog).

Please let us know if you are still experiencing issues.

As with any beta release, please do not use it on any production/live website. It is only meant for testing in a local/staging environment.

Hi timmse,

I have test it, but unfortunately it`s not working.

Greetings, Daniel

I also created a new template, but unfortunately it doesn’t work with that either.

The template (and the 1.9.2 beta fix) works and your footer is no longer broken. However, since you are querying another term within the query (smartphones), you should disable the query merge, otherwise the query will get messed up (because it is supposed to show your tablets, since it is a tablet term archive).

Ah, ok sorry, I wasn’t aware of “Disable query merge”. I didn’t pay attention to it.

Sorry for the trouble I caused. I’ll send a cup of coffee down the line.
