SOLVED: One page navigation

Bricks Version: 1.4.0.2 | 1.5-beta
Browser: Any
OS: macOS
URL: Local dev / staging.forenzix.co.uk

I created a brand new WP/Bricks/Child (your child files)
Settings->Reading->set home page
Create template → set to ‘Front-page’. Add Containers. Make each 100VH with background color. No other changes.
Page-Settings → one page nav → ON
No nav appears at all. It’s hiding somewhere but hard to find. The #div for it + ULs are there, but where they ‘appear’ I’m not sure.

On my staging site - I added OnePageNav - and it just sits at the bottom of the page, under page content, with dots, but no links or clicks do anything.
I’ve managed to replicate this (nav under page) once on my local, clean install, but then it disappeared again and I’m afraid I don’t know what I changed… not much.

I can’t get 1p to work at all… although it appears and works in the editor. On front - not at all.
I tried a fresh install of 1.4.0.2 - no nav at all. 1.5-beta - random - no nav or bottom of page and non-functioning.

No console errors - no plugins at all. Vanilla, clean WP install with bricks.

Hi,

Welcome to the forum!

This problem will be fixed in 1.5 RC.

Ok thanks. Good to know I’m not going mad… at least for this reason!

Not fixed in latest version.

@Sridhar Whats going on with this fix? I have still this issue in 1.5.4

Hi guys,
I can’t find a task on this topic, sorry. So let’s start over.

What’s working for me (Bricks 1.5.4):

  1. Create a new Page (not a template).
  2. Add some sections (100vh, background-color, …)
  3. Go to page settings and enable the onepage nav.

If you’re using a “default page” template, exclude it from your full-page page.

Best regards,
timmse

Fixed for me in latest 1.5.4 - if used in a page, not a template.
Thanks.
