</div>

**Step to reproduce:**

1. Insert two sections.
2. Add Heading and Basic Text element to the container of the first section.
3. Select both elements and wrap them with Block.
4. Drag the Block to the container of the second section.

**Result:**

Elements are moved to the container of the second section, but get unwrapped. Also, deleting the container of the first section, which is now empty, deletes the elements in the container of the second section.

Nope, all works perfectly for me.
No unwrapping and deleting only deletes the container.
I’d suspect something else in your environment.

Oh can’t view your video either, unsupported format. ☹

Which version did you test in? I just checked and I can’t reproduce it in 2.4 RC2, but in 2.3.13, I can.

I’m on 2.3.13.

Try and reproduce it in Try bricks perhaps?

Thanks so much for your report!

I reproduced the issue and added it to our bug tracker.
We’ll update this thread once it’s fixed.

Hmmm, Just done a clean install and tried again. Same result. I can’t reproduce the issue.

So a bit worrying that Bricks seems to be a bit intermittent.

The replication step a bit tricky. 🙂
After wrapping the elements, straight away drag the newly created div/block to another container while the old elements are still selected

Ok I can reproduce it now, thanks. I’d never have guessed that as seems unnatural to me. I always click on something to select it first before trying an action. ( So click on the Block and then drag it )

Still can’t recreate the other part where deleting the first, empty, container then deletes the elements.

Possibly because my first container isn’t empty but still contains the block. Deleting that and then deleting the container all works as expected. Second container elements remain in place.

Maybe now you can understand why we can’t reproduce every report right away… it’s usually the tiny details that make the difference 🙂 As far as I can tell, in this case there’s only the “delete selected” option, so the two elements that are still selected will also be deleted.

Oh wow. Yes managed it now. Thank you.

Just curious really as not come across this before, but explains a lot. I often try and recreate issues I see on the forum and often fail.
