SOLVED: Anchor tag is stripped out of WooCommerce short description

It’s quite simple. When a link is added to text in the WooCommerce short description, it is not included on the front end. This is also true for bold tag and therefore I’m assuming all html tags are stripped from the text.

EDIT:
This is only the case when using the {woo_product_excerpt} dynamic data in a basic text field. If the “Product Short Description” Bricks element is used, then it works as expected.

Maybe this isn’t a bug.

Thanks so much for your report!

Since the WooCommerce Short description allows for adding formatted text, it should show formatted using the basic or rich text as well. I’ve added it to the bug tracker.
