Single Post Template overwrites modifications in the post

2nd try to solve my problem 
(I could not find any related solution in this forum)
In my current Themeforest template, I can make modifications in the Image Gallery to the default presets in a Single Post.
Example:
Default is large images one below the other. In the post, I can change this to a three column grid. Or, I used the video placeholder instead of the Image Gallery.
In Bricks, the Single Post template overwrites any modifications in the post. What do I need to change, so that the basic defaults like Post Title and Post Content come from the Single Post Template and the rest of the content like the Image Gallery or a video comes from the Post?
I switched from Gutenberg to Bricks in the Posts and Pages setting.
What am I doing wrong? Or is that not possible?
