NO BUG: How to close the Command palette

I have updated one of my sites to Bricks 2.0 and when I edit any site I only get the Command palette menu and there is no way to close it, I have tried Esc key, Crtl+F keyboard shortcut, nothing. Simply put, I open the edit page and all I see is the Command palette, which has no way to close. All I can do is close the entire page tab. In the meantime, I’m holding off on upgrading other sites.

Do you have any errors showing in Dev tools > Console?

Would be helpful to share with the team.

Could be a caching issue too, would disable any caching / optimisation plugins / clear cache on the site and see if still impacts. Looks like it’s not loading properly.

Hi @Roice,

Can you try to temporarily disable all plugins? If the issue persists, please share temporary admin access to help@bricksbuilder.io with a link to this forum thread so we can investigate.

No in console I only see: jqmigrate: migrate is installed, version 3.4.1

I have now tested this with this site on a second machine with Linux Mint and Firefox and the problem is identical.

I still tried setting bricks-popup to display:none and when I look at the detail of any embedded element, the editor is completely broken. See screenshot.

Thanks, I could have thought of that too. I’ve tried all plugins and finally the error only shows up when the plugin WP-Optimize - Clean, Compress, Cache (WP-Optimize – Cache, Compress images, Minify & Clean database to boost page speed & performance – Plugin WordPressu | WordPress.org Česko) is active. When this plugin is disabled Bricks runs normally and the editor from the previous post is ok.
