NO BUG: Bricks Template Publicly Inaccessible

Hi,

I was trying to view a template I created from incognito browser mode and share it with someone. However, the feature isn’t working.

I reversed what @charaf said here: Bricks Templates are Publicly Accessible - #2 by charaf. Unfortunately, it still doesn’t work; it just redirects me to the site’s homepage.

I have it enabled.

Hi Abey,
Thanks so much for your report, and I’m sorry for the late reply.

What kind of template is it?
Is your site password-protected, maintenance activated or something else that could somehow affect the “expected” behavior?

Best regards,
timmse

I got things figured out except that an unexpected issue happened.

I have a template for a CPT and I set a condition to display an element if the CPT term ID == [id_number]

This fails to work, why?

PS: This was part of the issue I had.

Hi @abey,

so, can you make a screenshot of your condition and where in the template you have it? How do you check for term ID?

Thanks,
Matej

Here’s the screenshot

I don’t understand what you mean by where in the screenshot I have it.

Should I open a new thread to discuss this properly?

I want an element to show when a CPT post has a term and its term ID = 54

But nothing shows, despite the post having a term whose ID is 54.

PS: I have a CPT with a single post template and a pop-up on the single post page. Now, some elements must be displayed dynamically by a CPT taxonomy. I created these with the MB plugin.

Hi @abey,

yeah, I was confused by the template report. Let’s open a new topic for this issue, so we can discuss it there, as it seems that it’s not related to the original report.

Feel free to tag me there

Thanks,
Matej

Hi @Matej and @timmse

Where is the sites URL stored in my Bricks site as the owner of the templates?
I mean like the DB or something
