Hi bricks team,
As you can see in the screenshot below, the color value is displayed in a very limited space. It is even very difficult to edit.
As a suggestion, if you agree, the space below could be much better and more efficient. There is also enough space next to the active color to display the settings icon so that you can click on it to open the color manager.

I think it makes sense, but as this is a UI decision, I’ll have to discuss it with others as well. I’ll mention this to them and will let you know once we decide about it

Yes please implement his suggestion. There are a number cramp spaces in the panel which would benefit from some breathing room.
I agree with this change. One negative experience I had with the new colors UI is that I have to go through two steps to access the color picker. First, open the colors panel and then access the color picker. It would be nice if the color picker was available with a single click like before.
Also, the icons for the Colors panel and the color picker are similar. It would have been better if the color picker icon was an eyedropper.
