Maintenance Mode: Exclude pages

Bricks vs. 2.1.4

I’ve searched here for a solution, and I know it’s simple, but nothing I’ve found has worked so far. I am running a Coming Soon page. I have the following pages excluded from maintenance mode: Blog/, and /Policies. I also have the following post excluded: Pics-from-the-show/. When I browse Pics-from-the-show and Policies, the site displays properly. This tells me that the bypass is working. However, when browsing Blog, I get only the standard coming soon template.

Here’s the strange part. Both Blog and Policies are “bricks” pages. However, Blog is also listed as the default posts page in WordPress > Settings > Reading > Posts page. When I change that setting to another page, the Blog page shows up, thus bypassing maintenance mode.

How can I get Blog to bypass maintenance mode when it’s still listed as the default Posts Page?

Links and their status:

Solved. I noticed that one of my posts wasn’t using the single post template for some reason. The bottom section that links to similar posts was displaying items that were not in the query.

That post was actually rendering in WordPress rather than Bricks. As soon as I started rendering it with Bricks, the blog post started displaying properly.

If you’re having problems with pages not bypassing the maintenance filter, make sure everything being displayed is rendering with Bricks.
