Sorry for the late reply. When you open the classic editor on a page built with Bricks, it should automatically select the “Bricks” tab, like this:
Is that not the case on your end?

Sorry for the late reply. In the meantime I found out, that this feature works only if there is no “classic” content on the page. It happened, that the site I was using it on was tranformed to Bricks from a simple WP site with classic content. So most of the pages had some old content left, thus this feature didn’t work.
After deleting the old content all worked as intended.
The way this feature is designed seems reasonable - if there is a classic content, you probably want to edit it. It would be nice, if there was an option to enable this feature even with existing content or at least page would remember the last setting, but it’s no big deal.
