# Filter Search on archive product site dont show password protected products

I’m using the **Search Filter** element on a WooCommerce Archive template, following the official Bricks tutorial [Query Sort, Filter & Live Search – Bricks Academy](https://academy.bricksbuilder.io/article/query-filters/). I’ve noticed that when I search for a product that is **password-protected** (using the native WordPress ‘Visibility: Password protected’ setting), it doesn’t show up in the search results.

Interestingly, other filters like the **Checkbox Filter** do display and filter password-protected products correctly.

**Is this the intended behavior for the Search Filter?** It seems like the search query automatically excludes password-protected posts, while other filter types do not.

I also noticed that using the new ‘Search Criteria’ functionality allows password-protected products to be displayed: https://academy.bricksbuilder.io/article/search-criteria/
