Feedback on Wireframes

Hey guys. I put up a quick video commenting on the current state of Wireframes and the variables that it imports.

I think it is a good step, but far from finished to a usable point.

Since putting the video up, a user commented that you can in fact add custom steps to scales by changing from ‘T-shirt’ to ‘Custom’ From a UI perspective I had no idea what ‘T-Shirt’ meant

However, it doesn’t work anyway if you add custom steps, save, close and go back in to the UI,it is back on ‘T-Shirt’

Thanks for the feedback.

I’ve added the issue of “duplicate variables” to our internal bug tracker. At the very least, we should display a warning instead of silently creating duplicates.

Regarding the ability to add more steps regardless of the scale, we already have an internal improvement for this that will be included in our upcoming release.

You also mentioned using our own scale generators for variables in Wireframe templates: good point, but also Wireframe templates have been out for some time, while the scale generators are only available in 2.2-beta.

Just to clarify, clicking “Save” does not generate the variables. You need to click “Generate” for your settings to be saved and persisted.
