Instructions say: 4. Import the templates by uploading the zip file. Where do you do the uploading?
Found it. I was trying to upload the downloaded zip file. There’s a template zip inside the downloaded zip that is what gets uploaded. To import, go to your Bricks > Templates on the left Wordpress navigation, then choose import.

Well, I already did another update becasue I was not satisfied with the refactoring to get rid of some unnecessary custom CSS that is no longer needed.

This kit is great, but would you consider either removing the font choices, or supplying a version of the kit without any additional styling (particularly fonts). Having to go through every single element one by one to remove the fonts you have set up, which will almost certainly not match the fonts chosen by us on any particular site, is really annoying. These are meant to be simple templates which we can style the way we want, and including a font chosen on practically every element really isn’t helpful.
Thanks.
You can do this. Unzip the templates and open them up in a text editor and search for Inter and replace it with the name of the Google font you want. This changes fonts everywhere except the buttons. Then search and replace Nunito with the name of the font you want and that changes the buttons. Then zip them back up and import them. You can target the color #546b82 and change the background on all the buttons with something different.
You would then still need to change the font in one place in the “custom css.txt” from Nunito and #546b82 to whatever you want to use for that button.
Alternatively, you can do the same with a migration tool that allows you to find and replace text as you export the website. Export the website with new fonts and then Import it back in.
Unfortunately, and I just realized this, a utility class won’t work on all elements if the font is already set in the style panel for another class. It works on a Title, depending on how the custom classes are arranged at the top of the style panel, but not on many other things I tried.
With notepad++ you can open up all the JSON template files at the same time and find and replace across all documents.
Thanks for the reply. I will give that a go. It does seem like it would be more logical to just not include any font selections in the templates and so the default fonts that have been set when building a site are used. I can’t see any benefit to including all these font selections in the template as it would be very rare that they would be useful for anyone.
