DUPLICATE: After converting the element to a component, %root% is reset

Hi bricks team,

After converting an element to a component, %root% in the custom CSS is changed to the element ID before it was converted to a component.

thank you. This seems to be the same issue as it was already reported here (Issue #3):

WIP: 1.12 ( Beta ) Component category dropdown z-index issue and more

1 - Component category dropdown go under description in builder. 2 - Component cross site copy and paste not working. 3 - Custom CSS not carry over %root% after save as component. It carry and show old #ID instead of %root%.

That’s why I marked this topic as a “duplicate” and I’ll close it. Thank you though for checking and taking the time to record a video!
