SOLVED: Choosing colour from palette at 50% opacity

I’m trying to style some basic text with a colour from my custom colour palette, but set it to 50% opacity in that instance. This doesn’t appear to be possible, and when I view it on the front end, it has reverted to the full strength 100%. The only way is to assign a new colour with same hex code as the palette one, then change opacity - resulting in a specific colour only for this class.

Am I not getting how to use the palette correctly? or is this a bug?

Thanks, sorry for missing that it’s been reported already - still trying to get used to the palette (which I don’t find super intuitive!), so assumed I wasn’t using it correctly.
