If I understand correctly, changing the component’s variant through end-user interaction like hover, click, etc., is not currently possible due to how Bricks render components, however adding this function would add a more easy way to create interactive and ‘animated’ elements.
Similar function is in Framer, where you can create basic animations through the component’s variations, creating a quick way to prototype and produce custom effects.
